  • New members of FoodNet meta-cluster!

We are happy to announce that six of new cluster organizations from different countries joined the FoodNet structure and took our invitation to expand the meta-cluster circle!

Clusters from the field of logistics or food production / transportation which decided to honor us by means of their FoodNet accession are, respectively: North-South Logistic and Transport Cluster, Competitiveness pole of Bizerte, AGRINOVA Cluster, HORTIESPAÑA, AgroBioCluster and APROA – Association of Fruit and Vegetable Producers Organisations from Andalusia.

North-South Logistic and Transport Cluster is a Polish association composed of 118 members. This is an innovation oriented organization with a significant potential to develop a co-operation between business, research & development institutions and local governments.

Competitiveness pole of Bizerte is a cluster from Tunisia, guaranteeing numerous benefits from multiple advantages of the investing in this North African country.

AGRINOVA Cluster comes from Marocco and provides EU clusters access to South-Mediterranean markets through close cooperation with local-based organisations.

HORTIESPAÑA is the Spanish Interprofessional Organization of Fruits and Vegetables. Its objective is to bring together the entire fruit and vegetable sector under the Spanish greenhouse and become the reference interlocutor with the consumer, institutions and the EU itself for the defense of the sector, valuing its strengths and for research and investment in Innovation for the sector.

AgroBioCluster is an agrofood & bioeconomy cluster that brings together 46 companies, local government administration, research and scientific institutes from Central Poland, stimulating their holistic development and international cooperation.

APROA – Association of Fruit and Vegetable Producers Organisations from Andalusia has 58 Producer Organizations spread across the provinces of Almería, Cádiz, Granada, Huelva, Málaga and Sevilla.

Glad with all new members acceptance, FoodNet invites all cluster organizations in the fields of logistics and food production / transportation to co-operate for increasing the competitivenes and internationalisation!
